Tweed Bridge, Coldstream
By Robert Noble RSA
Noble painted this view of the Tweed Bridge from the downstream side looking west. The high cloud and haze are beautifully depicted as is the late summer landscape and water, the light on which is well known to many an angler on this stretch of salmon water. The picture is in oli on board and comes with its original gilt frame.
